A local private investor is selling two restaurant investments in Melbourne including an asset leased to renowned Hampton steak restaurant, Butcher and Vine.
The properties at 427 Hampton Street, Hampton and 549 Burwood Road, Hawthorn are being offered for sale through Burgess Rawson’s Matthew Wright, Zomart He, and Justin Kramersh. Nick Breheny of Gorman Kelly is the conjunctional agent on the Hawthorn restaurant while Jonathon McCormack of Gorman Allard Shelton is conjunctional agent for the Hampton property.
Butcher and Vine was ranked among the World’s Best 101 Steak Restaurants last year and has been rated as serving the best steaks in Melbourne.
The property is leased to the restaurant on a 12-year basis at a net annual rental of $273,363.
Sri Lankan restaurant, Pettah Road occupies 549 Burwood Road (corner of Henry Street) on a 5+5+5 year set-and-forget lease paying a net annual rental of $114,625. The 262 square metre corner site offers three street frontages.
Mr Wright said the Hawthorn property is located in the Burwood/Camberwell Road development corridor and offered potential for a 5-level development in the future.
